From the popular seaside resorts to the quieter inland villages, the Costa Dorada offers huge variety so you are sure to find your perfect summer holiday. The upmarket fishing town of Cambrils offers visitors amazing dining, relaxed nightlife and a great promenade; or perhaps the closeby culturally rich port city of Tarragona with its Roman ruins is more your cup of tea.

Another firm favourite is the coastal resort of Salou complete with 14km of beaches and coves to choose from. With blue flag beaches, an excellent waterpark, one of Europe’s best amusement parks and so much more, Salou is often a real winner with families. The town also offers lots of great bars and a vibrant night life so it is a fun packed resort for all ages.

Although Reus is often overlooked, the city itself is undoubtedly worth a mention due to its beautiful architecture, great restaurants and charming appeal. Hometown of the great Gaudi, the city has one of the most important Modernist heritages in Europe so be sure to follow its Modernism route for all of the architectural wonders the city has to offer.

Only one hour outside the city is the Spanish favourite Barcelona packed with culture and fantastic shopping opportunities. Stroll around Europe’s most extensive Gothic quarter which offers an amazing collection of old and new. It is easy to spot Reus’s most iconic architect Gaudi’s unique buildings while exploring Barcelona with two of his most famous being the Sagrada Familia and Casa Batllo.
